Running and Developing Successful Puppy Parties/ Socialisation Events
This CPD course is suitable for canine professionals including Veterinary Nurses, doggy daycarers or those already working in the field of companion animal behaviour who wish to improve existing sessions or set up, design and develop puppy socialisation events. It also looks at offering basic behaviour advice to owners.
Course aims: To provide the learner with the skills and knowledge necessary to confidently run and design successful puppy socialisation events. Using the latest scientific studies and research, this course will ensure that up to date techniques and gold standards are applied.
In this full day course delegates will look at:
- Designing new or reviewing existing puppy socialisation events
- Preventing problems from developing during classes
- Typical behaviour problems encountered & advice to clientsoggy day care
- Case studies

Registered Veterinary Nurse, Teacher, Animal Behaviourist
Caroline has over 30 years’ experience working within the animal industry. She is a qualified registered veterinary nurse and has a professional teaching qualification. Caroline’s teaching experience is varied, having taught students from level one through to graduates on degree courses. During her career she has worked for a number of colleges and was with the Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons as an external verifier ensuring standards were met on the Veterinary Nursing programme.
