This course is suitable for Veterinary surgeons and nurses, and those working with cats in a professional capacity. It would also suit those with a special interest in developing a more in-depth knowledge of feline behaviour problems.

Course aims: To provide the learner with a greater understanding of some of the more challenging feline behaviour problems, how they develop and how to manage them

In this full day course delegates will look at:

  • Obsessive compulsive disorders and repetitive behaviours
  • Aggression in multi-cat households
  • Hyperesthesia
  • Medical disorders and their impact on behaviour
  • Prevention and treatment strategies
  • Interactive case studies and an opportunity to discuss cases

Cost? £140 includes refreshments, lunch, course notes and CPD certificate.


The course will be led by Caroline Clark

Caroline has a professional teaching qualification and is an A.B.T.C. Registered Clinical Animal Behaviour Counsellor and full member of the Association of Pet Behaviour Counsellors (APBC). She is a fully qualified Registered Veterinary Nurse with over 30 years’ experience in Veterinary practice. Caroline currently runs a busy behaviour practice, providing help for animals with a range of behaviour problems. She writes articles for veterinary journals and has provided professional advice for television documentaries and appeared as a pet behaviour expert in a 20 part series for Channel 4 TV.


Caroline Clark

Registered Veterinary Nurse, Teacher, Animal Behaviourist

Caroline has over 30 years’ experience working within the animal industry. She is a qualified registered veterinary nurse and has a professional teaching qualification. Caroline’s teaching experience is varied, having taught students from level one through to graduates on degree courses. During her career she has worked for a number of colleges and was with the Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons as an external verifier ensuring standards were met on the Veterinary Nursing programme.
