This veterinary approved webinar is most suitable for canine professionals who run dog day-care centres, work in rescue or for dog walkers who may wish to integrate dogs safely. It may also be of interest to those who are studying canine behaviour or for dedicated dog owners who wish to get another dog and be able to introduce them safely. The webinar has been written and designed by a qualified and working clinical animal behaviourist and experienced registered veterinary nurse.
The webinar is broken down into bite-sized lessons, accompanied by multiple learning processes, including some written content, demonstration videos, external resources, recommended reading and scientific references. There is a self-directed task that I have suggested for you but this is not a marked piece of work. It has been designed to help you bring together and apply some of the knowledge you have acquired throughout your studies on this course. I have included some of my feedback and thoughts so you can see how you did.
There are no exams but to obtain your certificate you must answer a few multiple choice questions at the end of the course.

I really enjoyed this seminar. It was very in depth and covered a lot of useful and interesting areas. I found it beneficial for developing my knowledge in this area.

Some really good visuals to demonstrate the different areas. The course goes into what to look for, the warning signs and the signs that the play is going well. I liked MARS and also the consent check. When dogs are interacting it can change from play to problematic very quickly so knowing how to spot the signs early enough is essential and this course covered it well.
I would definitely recommend to anyone who has a dog.

Learnt a few surprising techniques even with my 19 years experience really fun to have a few more extra tips and ideas to hand!! Thank you!

This is a really helpful and easy to understand course, going into much detail about how to achieve happy and positive interactions between dogs, and also how to spot problems, read dog body language and avoid bad experiences. Many video links which were helpful and memorable. Thanks Caroline, highly recommended course for dog owners, dog walkers and anyone working with or training dogs.

I recently completed an online course on managing dog behaviours, and it was fantastic! The course was well-structured, easy to follow, and packed with practical tips. The instructors provided clear, step-by-step guidance on how to understand and address common behavioural issues, such as barking, jumping, and how best to manage interactions between dogs.

A very insightful course to dog behavior and body language and understanding the importance of
MARS. I would highly recommend

Comprehensive, useful information and I really liked the case studies

Excellent insight in what your dogs body language is really saying. Great videos really enjoyed analysing the final video of puppy socialisation. Important warning too, that not all posts on the internet are accurate and if you do have an issue get advise from a properly qualified individual.
Thank you another useful tool in the toolbox of analysing dog behaviour.

It is really helpful to have so many extra resources to review during the course and be able to see real time video interactions to practice reading canine body language.
The layout of the course is easy to follow and understand especially with the use of videos and photos.
I was able to take home a few ideas on how to help clients introduce their dogs and how to structure socialization during puppy school classes.
I reccomend this course to anyone who works with dogs from dog walkers, groomers, veterinary staff, trainers and even dog owners.

Very informative and easy to follow, some more helpful tips to add to the knowledge bank!
