Reviews
This course covers many aspects of feline needs and provides a wide understanding of all aspects regarding fear, anxiety and aggression. Now that I have completely the course and have learned so much, I have made many changes within my own home and have plans to make further changes to provide my cats with the best environment and care that I can give them. This is an easy to follow course yet comprehensive, for anyone with an interest in feline care, whether within the workplace or home.
Stimulating, easy to understand content. It was all highly relevant and logically constructed. I especially found the video content helpful. I hope to incorporate basic information to enhance my work as a cat sitter and give more consideration to what next. Also really useful to reflect in and introduce some changes for my own cat in relation to feeding enrichment and possible introduction of Omega 3`s. Really good value course.
I have done the advanced certificate in Canine and Feline aggression, fear and anxiety. Highly recommend
The course teaches a holistic approach to cat therapy, incorporating feline behavioral medicine. The materials are based on scientific knowledge supported by source documents.
Informative and educational course. Easy to follow and understand. Great for veterinary professionals or anyone wanted to learn more about their own pet.
Extremely useful and practical. Gave a thorough overview of all the elements linked to feline anxiety, fear and aggression. Technical/scientific topics were well explained and accessible. The course will be very helpful to me in my work caring for cats in a rehoming shelter, in particular how to deal with different challenging behaviours and how to create modification plans and training programmes. I would highly recommend the course to anyone working with cats.
very informative course ,excellent i you are cat owner or if you are interested in working in a cattery or a cat rescue ,and contributes a lot to becoming a cat behaviorist ,
I really loved the way the course is organized, meaning the definitions and the informative boxes. I also enjoyed the suggestive readings and the research papers. I understood all the content, even though some parts were very detailed, but it is written in a way that everyone understands.
This was a fascinating course and learning experience. While I have no scientific background, I found that explanations of subjects of which I had no knowledge were clearly explained and understandable.
The lessons were of a suitable length and content to be undertaken easily at one sitting.
The webinars were particularly helpful in that training methods and techniques were clearly illustrated.
I have been fostering cats for over 20 years but there were still areas in which I can now improve my care of cats.
I would certainly recommend this course to anyone involved in cat care, particularly in a shelter or as a fosterer.
A very useful and informative course, whether you work with cats in a professional setting or if you have cats at home. Detailed but easy to understand modules with resource lists for extra reading and information and video lectures to allow for a varied learning style. I have also completed the dog course and would highly recommend both.
A very well written & very informative course that many cat owners/guardians would benefit from!
Amazing course, well written and extremely knowledgeable well organized with a very high quality content also very interesting and practical something that I can definitely use day to day as a RVN and I would highly recommend this course whether you are professional or not.
As an RVN, I feel this course is incredibly insightful. Some sections are more of a refresher and some have taught me new things. all round a great course. I only wish that a separate course had been made for RVN’s as there was a lot of concepts/terminology that was explained in detail that I already knew and most veterinary nurses would already know so I made me lose focus a bit.
However, I did find it all interesting and feel I am a better nurse for it.
Having worked and studied within the animal industry for almost 20 years it was really refreshing to come across a course with content that was new. The course itself is set out to appeal to all learning techniques, be it visual, audio or practical. I thoroughly enjoyed working my way through the content.
I enjoyed this course, there was loads of information and interesting videos along the way. I would recommend this course to anyone.
