About Us

Pet Education and Training Courses is an Open Education College. We provide quality distance learning and deliver hosted events on topics ranging from animal health and behaviour. We are based in the UK but provide courses in all English speaking countries throughout the World.

Pet Education and Training Courses provide specialised up to date and accurate canine and feline related programmes of study. Courses are suitable for anyone who is interested in pursuing a career working with animals and for those already working as a pet professional. Some courses would also suit exceptional pet owners who just want to learn more about their animals.

ALL our courses are written and assessed by highly qualified pet professionals who currently work within the animal care industry (e.g. veterinary nursing, clinical animal behaviour counselling). This means that we can share real-life experience with our students, in order for them to achieve professional development.

Caroline Clark, Lead Tutor & Principal

As seen as the animal behaviour expert on Channel 4's Embarrassing Pets

Caroline has over 30 years’ experience working within the animal care industry. She is a qualified registered veterinary nurse and has a professional teaching qualification. Caroline’s teaching experience is varied, having taught students from level one through to veterinary nurses and undergraduates on degree courses. During her career she has worked for a number of colleges and was an external verifier for the Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons, ensuring standards were met on the Veterinary Nursing programme.

Caroline is a full member of the APBC (Association of Pet Behaviour Counsellors) and is one of only a small number of specialists to have achieved the status of Registered Clinical Animal Behaviourist (CAB) with the Animal Behaviour Training Council (ABTC). Caroline currently runs her own behaviour referral practice in Yorkshire and still maintains links with the veterinary environment, working as a freelance clinical coach in a busy 7-branch veterinary hospital.

Caroline appeared as the animal behaviour expert in a 20 part, Channel Four TV series: ‘Embarrassing Pets’ and she enjoys public speaking and writing articles for veterinary publications.
